Nadia and the Power Rocket

The Power Rocket - so powerful that Nadia cannot even sit properly on it?!?!

Those handlebars aren't just red, they're Power Red

Beautiful inside and out.

It is yet to be determined if this is a legal use of a milk crate or not.

Amy and Monte-Cristo Velo Sport

People and their Bikes: Bikinis and Motorcycles (Sex Sells Edition)

Christ died for our sins.

This bad ass bike is chock-full of religious imagery.

Bikini-clad riders with motorcycle helmets, religious slogans, AND a comfy seat? What could anyone ever want?

Nicole and Rocinante

Rocinante is named after Don Quixote's faithful stead - the name implying its low quality (?)

Rocinante's front insignia includes a gem!

And it has a back insignia too! Is that Royal Approval?

Is Rocinante the classiest bike we've ever featured on People and their Bikes? (It's certainly the only one with multiple insignia we have)

As a bonus to make up for my recent lack of updates, here is a special edition BONUS BIKE courtesy of Paul:

Derek and Achilles

Derek was eager to have his bike photographed, obviously unashamed to be riding girl's bike (Update: He claims he is just borrowing his girlfriend's bike. Sure, Derek.)

Pretty cushy handlebars and a nice big selection of gears means "Achilles" can probably travel pretty fast. Perhaps what it is missing is a racing stripe to reflect Derek's own eagerness?

So what is "Achilles'" Achilles' heel, so to speak? I'm willing to be this bike wasn't named for nothing. Let your voice be heard in the comment section below!

Vegas and "Andrea"

I met Vegas and his lovely "Andrea" outside a bar in Hamilton where they were advertising the fact that the Washrooms are Broken.

I bet these thick handle bars come in "hand"-y !!!

Vegas shows off the security of Andrea's peddles: never again will you have to worry about your foot flying off the peddle when reaching those particularly high speeds!

Léa and "the Slow Bitch"

Léa could not be reached for comment on that conspicuous piece of toilet paper stuck in "the Slow Bitch's" wheel.

Wheel protection is essential and quite possibly saved the Slow Bitch from even more toilet paper-caused havoc.

When you travel slow, you need a light, no matter how small.

So many gears! I'd wager this bike is incorrectly named!

Tammy and Bessie

Bessie is pictured here on the porch where she lives with some of her bike friends when not out-racing them.

Zebra-themed bike handles (one can imagine oneself as a cheetah in constant chase of sweet, sweet zebra flesh as motivation to peddle faster)

New front and back derailleurs allow Tammy and Bessie to zip by the competition.

This conveniently placed drink-holder is what every athlete needs on their bike (for hydrating fyi)
